Non-disclosure Agreement
This Agreement (the “Agreement”) is between CAAL (Chinese American Association of Lexington) (“Organization”) and volunteers (“Volunteer”) participating in this Community Help WeChat group. It is intended to prevent the unauthorized disclosure of Confidential Information (as defined below) by Volunteers. The parties agree as follows:

1. Personal Information
During the course of volunteering service, Organization may have access to the personal information (‘PI”) relating to the individual(s) seeking help from Organization. PI may consist of names, address, phone numbers, or personal information leading to identify the individual(s) seeking help from the Organization. Organization permits access to PI on a “need to know” basis. Therefore, unless authorization has been granted, any intentional accessing of PI, or circumvention of PI security protocols, is prohibited.

2. Confidential Information
“Confidential Information” consists of PI as well as any information discussed in the WeChat group, or other forms of communication.

3. Non-Disclosure
Without Organization’s prior written consent, Volunteer will not: (a) disclose Confidential Information to any third party, whether electronically, orally, or in writing; (b) make or permit to be made copies or other reproductions of Confidential Information; (c) make any use of Confidential Information.

4. Term
The non-disclosure terms of this Agreement shall survive any termination, cancellation, expiration or other conclusion of service (or this Agreement) unless the parties otherwise expressly agree in writing or Organization sends Volunteer written notice releasing it from this Agreement.
